Ancient City Kitty is a series of educational children's books with a fun and enlightening spirit. Ancient City kItty combines modern day characters with charm and wit woven together with the rich history of the nation’s oldest city, Saint Augustine, Florida. Three intrepid cats and a zany,venerable mouse shipwreck in St.Augustine from Spain, England, and France. The ethnicity of the characters represent cultures that played pivotal roles in the rich cultural history of Saint Augustine since 1565. The stories are geared towards children ages 2-8, teaching them the importance of embracing cultural diversity, history, and life lessons of value, purpose, and functionality.

The Ancient City Kitty Series
Our goal is to create an ongoing series of children’s books that has massive extensibility over multiple media. 3 books are currently completed in written form and 5 are on the futures list planned for timed release. These along with digital counterparts (ipad and ebook) will create the foundation for the series. Our goal is to create educational content that would be adopted by regional and national curriculum.

Our Historic Alliance with America’s Oldest City
On January 28 our team met with the city of Saint Augustine, Fl. In 2015 St.Aug celebrates it’ s 450th anniversary. We feel the timing of our concept combined with the historic significance of the founding of America’s oldest city represents a unique opportunity. We have been asked by the city of Saint Augustine to create a custom book utilizing our characters to educate children on the cultural and historic significance of St. Augustine. This book (or series of books) will cover early exploration and founding of the city through St. Augustines important role as a civil rights touchpoint in the early 1960‘s .The historian has offered to work with us to provide historical content and accuracy. The books would be based on events that are most historically significant and directed at a wider age range of children.

The Ancient City Character Cast is a flexible, content injectable brand ensemble that can go beyond it’s Florida roots to embrace “Ancient Cities” in all parts of the world. Through clever Story lines and imaginative scenarios, The Ancient City Kitty cast can transport the reader through rich passages of history and culture providing the readers with unique perspectives presented in fun and fascinating styles.
